About Waimea Canyon State Park

Waimea Canyon State Park also known as The Grand Canyon of the Pacific is located on the west of the islands. It is believed it is one of the most beautiful sights as it gives a spectacular view of Kalalau Valley.

It was initially formed by the erosion from the Waimea River which gives it a very colorful look if you actually view it from above just like a rainbow. You can frequently see waterfalls and it has a very deep valley around high dramatic mountains offering us some great panoramic views
