  • Don’t forgo an opportunity to get a private tour of the Pentagon.
  • Book your hotels well in advance.
  • Don’t plan to drive in the city as traffic is difficult and so is finding a parking space.

Night Life

Reliving the era of olden days with the impressive monuments and well-conserved museums in the day time, the sunset too promises equal expanse of a good time. From a plethora of night clubs, bars restaurants, gay bars, sports venues, and theatres one needs to dedicate days in order to enjoy at least a few from the listed lot. The Memorials can be visited at night, the beautiful lights add to the grace and charm of the place. A night tour, like that of the National Mall tour or the Lincoln Assassination Tour, is impressive as they unfold many stories of mystery and suspense. The sunset parade at Iwo Jima is a one-to-one encounter with the charisma of nature. Watching movies under the stars in the breezy and beautiful weather can definitely be a new experience in itself.
