About Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort, also called Walt Disney World and Disney World, is known as “the happiest place on earth”, located just outside of Orlando, Florida in Bay Lake. Children of all ages can literally spend days with their favorite characters at one of the two water parks or four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.

The young and old alike will want to have their photos taken with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cinderella, Belle, or even Captain Jack Sparrow. Go on 'It’s a Small World' and hum the music for days. You are guaranteed to unwind in the pure magic of the park, as you are transported to a fairytale world. Stay at one of the twenty-seven themed resort hotels, or one of the camping resorts, play a round of golf and pick up souvenirs at the outdoor shopping center. Originally known as The Florida Project, the resort officially opened in 1971. Plan wisely, as it covers nearly 25,000 acres (or 39 sq mi/101 sq km) and is now the most visited vacation resort in the world. Are you one of the more than 52 million people who have visited Walt Disney World annually?
