About Las Vegas Strip

Funny fact: The Last Vegas Strip isn’t really in Las Vegas. It actually located outside the Vegas city limits in Paradise and Winchester. The Strip is home to some of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world, and the location for almost as many movies. America’s Adult Playground is relatively young. The first casino to be built on what would later become The Strip was the Pair-o-Dice Club, in 1932. When organized crime bosses like Bugsy Siegel took an interest, casinos and resorts started sprouting up.

Every casino and resort has its own unique quality or “theme.” On a hot summer’s day, enjoy a drink at Senor Frog’s and step outside to catch the pirate entertainment on their ship outside Treasure Island. Watch the dolphins at the Mirage or the flamingos at The Flamingo. The Bellagio has fountains that seem to dance to the music, a wonder to see at night when the water plays with the lights. Ride the rollercoaster at the New York, dine in the luxury of the Egyptian Luxor, and take a picture with the golden lions outside the MGM. Whether you walk, drive, or take a taxi anywhere along the four-mile stretch of road, you will be dazzled by the vibrancy of the contemporary architecture, lights, and attractions. You won’t go hungry at any of the buffets and restaurants. Carry your drinks from casino to casino, and don’t be surprised if you run into one of the dancing ladies in costume on the street.
