The Neon Museum of Las Vegas is a non-profit organization that was founded way back in the year, 1996. This is an organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, and exhibiting the iconic signs for educational, historic, art, and cultural enrichment in Las Vegas. Each of the signs restored narrates a story about its creation and importance.
Signs from old casinos and other businesses are displayed on the 2.62 acres of land. There is a restored lobby shell from La Concha Motel decorating the visitors’ center. The Neon Museum was a joint venture between the Allied Arts Council of Southern Nevada and the City of Las Vegas and includes the New Neon Boneyard Park adjacent to the former Yesco Boneyard Park. The museum has restored the lost iconic sign from The Sands, a historic hotel and casino at the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada; and also restored and installed the Hacienda Horse and Rider sign at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont Street.
