The Koko Head Hike railway stairs are one of the most popular hikes on Oahu. When you reach here after a long trek you will notice a line of small white lights slowly making their way up the trail. There are somewhere around 1,048 railroad ties (steps) that you are required to climb to reach the summit. Once you reach the top which is worth it, You will have some amazing panoramic views of Diamond Head to Makapu’u Pt.. I would say after relaxing and pampering yourself enough at Hawaii this hike is a great exercise where you get to hike and also learn as to how it actually happened in World War II when the army built this staircase so that they could supply their gasoline up and down via Koko Head Railway
Wondering how can you reach to Koko Crater Railway Trail here's the line that passes near your destination - Bus: 1L. But there are other public transportation options available as well.
