Shanghai Science and technology museum is located in the Pudong district and is one of the most visited museums in China. The building was designed by Shanghai-based Creative Star Digital with the aim of accommodating 2 to 3 million visitors per year. The main theme of the museum is "Nature, Human, and Technology". The museum consists of 11 permanent exhibitions and 2 special exhibitions, art galleries, information and research from the Chinese Academy of Science and Chinese Academy of Engineering. It also consists of four cinema theatres such as IMAX 3d, Imax Dome, 4D and special theatre where you need to pay extra if you want to watch movies.
You can learn and explore more about biodiversity, earth crust exploration, the light of wisdom, home planet, information era, robot world, human health, space navigation, children's fantasies in permanent exhibition galleries. Children enjoy visiting the world of spiders and world of animal galleries in special exhibitions. The museum was selected as one of the most popular national museums in the world by "Themed Entertainment Association" and AECOM in 2016. Several shots for the promotional video of the Shanghai World Expo in 2016 were filmed here. This is a popular place for filming and videography.

Bus: Walk about 10 minutes to reach People's Square then take subway line 2, Guanglan Road and get off at Shanghai science stop and walk about 5 minutes to reach the Museum.
