• Traveling to Shenzhen during the Chinese holidays is a good idea as huge swathes of people travel to their hometowns.

•   Passengers under 16 years old are not allowed to carry any cigarettes nor liquor; The limits on duty-free and non-duty free cigarettes are the same.
• Mandarin is the official spoken language though one may hear dialects from all over the country here.
• One can make a dash to Hong Kong from here in a couple of hours owing to the proximity.
