About Jin Mao Tower

Jin Mao Tower also is known as Jin Mao Building or JinMao Tower and is located in Pudong district of Shanghai and consists of shopping malls, offices and the Hotel Grand Hyatt Shanghai. The building comprises of 88 standard floors and is one of the tallest buildings in the world measuring 1,380 feet and the third tallest building in Shanghai, which exceeds the Petrona's Twin tower in Kuala Lumpur and Wilis Tower in Chicago. The meaning of "Jin Mao" is golden prosperity or golden luxuriance. The building is constructed in a way that it can withstand both earthquakes and tropical cyclones so that people can stay safe in the tower.

The architecture of the building is traditional. Never miss visiting the observation deck on the 88th floor to explore the panoramic view of the city, the river Huangpu and the Bund. Taxi: The Tower is located 4.3 km away from the city and can be reached just within 11 minutes
