Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is located in Pudong district of Shanghai and one of the largest man-made aquariums in the world and was designed by Advanced Aquarium Technologies. The building consists of a basement, three floors, and eight exhibition zones. The aquarium is well presented with exhibitions that are really worth your time and money. Kids really enjoy visiting the aquarium. The exhibition in the aquarium consists of more than 300 types of species and 15,000 water creatures and rare fishes such as jellyfish, moonfish, poison dart frogs, sea dragons, emperor penguins, and common perch. You can see some rare and native endangered species of China at the China zone within the aquarium.
The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium also contains four underwater tunnels, which are the largest submarine tunnels in the world. If you want to see the fishes being fed then you can visit the aquarium during the afternoon, as it is feeding time. You can also visit the basement of the aquarium where you can have your meal and do some shopping. A few shops are available where you can buy gifts and souvenirs as well. You can enjoy this place with your children.

Bus: Walk 10 minutes to reach people's square then Take Subway line 2, Guanglan Road to reach Lujiazui and walk about 10 minutes to reach the Aquarium.
