About Emp Museum ( Museum Of Pop Culture )

EMP Museum is a great place if you want to know about pop culture. Frank O. Gehry is the mastermind behind this futuristic building, in which the museum is present. He designed it with 21,000 cut and shaped stainless steel and aluminium shingles. The museum was founded by the co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, in the year 2000. This is located on the campus of the Seattle Center.

There is a guitar gallery consisting of 256 guitars, some of them played by legends as well. There is a state of the art sound lab whose acoustics are great, its soundproof. In a mood to watch cinema? You can enjoy that as well in an 800-seater church hall. There are concerts performed here. Fans of Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana will be thrilled by the biggest collection of artifacts relating to these musicians, including hand-written song lyrics and personal instruments. Invite your inner rock star to come out and play in the sound lab, where you can jam, sing, pick, and drum as loud as you want. You can play original songs or sing covers song alone or sing in a group, the best part being the tools provided by MoPOP and you provide the vision. The Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame is the place where all the legends are honoured.
