There is a certain kind of thrill of being able to watch a city from a hill. In San Francisco, Twin Peaks provide that rare chance. With an elevation of 925-ft, the two hills are the second tallest and offer terrific views of the city and the Bay area.
The best way would be to drive to the top. But you can take public transportation as well. If the fog keeps out, you can spend an hour or two marveling at the audacity of human achievements, or just take ample photos. Just don't forget to wear something warm. It is the perfect place to see a sunrise in an amazing city backdrop.
