Founded in 1984 as Center for Fine Arts, the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is a modern and contemporary art museum. It is located in Museum Park, part of the redeveloping downtown waterfront on Biscayne Bay.
Designed by prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron. It has a state-of-the-art facility that offers 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor program space. The art museum is dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st centuries. The aim of the art museum is to encourage everyone to see art as an incentive for genuine human interaction, communication, and exchange.
