Though an official part of Edirne, this small town holds a very unique and separate entity as a tourist resort. The small pleasing town is enclosed by historical monuments and sublime trees all along its length. As the name says, the place has a variety of lined up elm trees. Located on the Westbank of the river Marica, the waterbody adds glamour to the tone of the city. With several restaurants and cafes dotted around the neighborhood, the town is a good place to try out some local Turkish cuisine. The old Ottoman style railway station and the Lozanian Monuments are not to be missed entities. Traditional wooden buildings also are a reason to admire the city architecture.
