TBMM Kurtulus Savasi Muzesi is a must-visit for those interested in the history of the Republic. The museum is full of documents and items that contain valuable information from the War of Independence and the early years of the Republic. Once you enter the museum, there lies the prayer rituals used by the members of the parliament and the Masjid where the Quranic rallies are displayed. You can also find military tools, oil paintings, souvenirs and photographs of deputies in the first two periods. In this section, the first room was used for meetings of the Council of Ministers. To the left of the corridor, the second room hosted the meetings of the council. Towards the right side of the corridor, the big hall has witnessed many heated assembly meetings in the past. On the lower floor, there is an exhibition hall, as well as photography and work depots.
Take the bus numbers 560/564 from the Hukuk Fakültesi, City Center and ride till Beytepe Metro İstasyonu. Walk for around 460m till Beytepe and take the Sincan M1-M2-M3 to Ulus. Walk for 330m to the museum. The total time taken will be approximately 49 minutes, and the bus fare will start from 10 TL.
The taxi covers a distance of 17.1 km from the city center in 15 minutes and costs around 50 TL - 60 TL.
