Erimtan Arkeoloji ve Sanat Muzesi was designed by AyşenSavaş, Can Aker and OnurYüncü in Ankara Castle, and was opened to visitors in 2015. The museum exhibits Yüksel Erimtan's collection in order to preserve and promote cultural heritage. There is a multipurpose exhibition space that includes temporary exhibitions. Various scientific, cultural and artistic activities are held in this multipurpose hall. The main entrance of the museum, the gift shop, the cloakroom and the southern wall of the elevator, the selected wall of the collection on the mezzanine floor are on display. The same wall is into the warehouse, kitchen, and wet volumes on the lower floors. The expanded northern wall has been designed as an archaeological library. Other important artifacts in the collection include pottery, bronze artifacts, jewelry, and a small number of cuneiform tablets and Byzantine items.
Take the bus numbers 560/564 from the Hukuk Fakültesi, City Center and ride till Beytepe Metro İstasyonu. Walk for around 460m till Beytepe and take the Sincan M1-M2-M3 to Ulus. Walk for 170m towards Atatürk Spor Salonu and take bus number 334/351/365 to Ulus Hal. Walk for around 600 m to the museum. The total time taken will be approximately 62 minutes, and the bus fare will start from 10 TL.
The taxi covers a distance of 17.7 km from the city center in 16 minutes and costs around 50 TL - 65 TL.
