AltInkoy Acik Hava Muzesi is Turkey’s first village open-air museum. The museum has over 700,000 visitors since its opening. The open-air museum is famous for its flora culture. There are over 640 different plants in the museum with information sheets for identification. You may also see horses, sheep, and lambs roaming the open area. Among the collections of the museum, the 50-year old baskets have been repaired according to the original. These objects were used as Karakovan and exhibited in the village museum. In the village, the sunrise and sunset have different beauty and become extremely mesmerizing during winters due to snowfall.
Take the bus numbers 560/564 from the Hukuk Fakültesi, City Center and ride till Beytepe Metro İstasyonu. Walk for around 460m till Beytepe and take the Sincan M1-M2-M3 to Ulus. Walk for 120m towards Atatürk Spor Salonu and take bus number 312/322 to Recep Yazıcıoğlu Parkı. Walk for around 610 m to the park. The total time taken will be approximately 91 minutes, and the bus fare will start from 10 TL.
The taxi covers a distance of 28.5 km from the city center in 26 minutes and costs around 80 TL - 100 TL.
