The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations exhibits stunning findings from Anatolia’s archaeological sites. It also provides a comprehensive view of Turkey’s ancient past. The two-story old bazaar building houses the exhibits. The museum has eight distinct sections exhibiting in chronological order. These exhibits are filled with precious artifacts that shed light on Turkey’s ancient history. The section features findings from the Paleolithic Age, Neolithic Age, Chalcolithic Age, Old Bronze Age, Hittites, Phrygians, Urartu civilization, and the Late Hittites. The exhibits of gold, silver, glass, marble, and bronze; and the coin collections, ranging from the first minted money to modern times, represent the museum's rare cultural treasures. The items available in the gift shop are unique, though expensive.
