The Ethnography Museum is housed inside a white marble post-Ottoman building (1927). It served as the temporary resting place of Atatürk(mausoleum) until 1953. The front of the museum displays the equestrian statue. The mausoleum is preserved in the entrance hall. The photographs of Atatürk's funeral are displayed around the walls. The ethnography collection here is superb. On the first floor, the displays cover hand ornaments, bath set, blue bead furnace, Anatolian jewelry, rug-making, Seljuk ceramics, early-15th-Century doors, and coffee. On the second floor, the 19th-Century bride room, wedding dress showcase, living room, Sunna room, and kitchen goods are exhibited.
