About Skadarlija

Skadarlija a vintage street is a remarkable Belgrade touristic attraction. It is an urban neighborhood and former municipality of Belgrade. Situated in the Belgrade municipality of the Old town Stari Grad. Skadarlijahas partially preserved the ambiance of the traditional urban architecture, including its archaic urban organization and is known as the main bohemian quarter of Belgrade which is a great street to experience Serbian bohemian lifestyle. In addition; there is a group down the street playing Serbian brass or traditional urban music and actors dressed in traditional Serb costumes as there is a series of festivities and celebrations. Besides, wine exhibitions, painting and poetry evenings, and theatrical shows.

Skadarlija is 500 meters from the city center and can be walked down or 7 minutes in a car with a fare minimum of 65 RSD.
