Avala Tower, a telecommunications and observations tower, is one of the most valuable things in Belgrade. The tower was completed in 1965, however, it was disintegrated and crashed due to the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia on 29 April 1999. In order to put the Radio Television of Serbia off the air.
