With over 3000 ancient and modern items Military Museum of Belgrade is an extraordinary monument in the city of Belgrade. The Museum was established by the Decree of the Prince Milan Obrenović IV on August 22, 1878. The outer premises of the museum's main building comprises of numerous artillery pieces from tanks to howitzers and armored cars of many types, some other artillery pieces are acquired during World War II are also on display. Museum's main building exhibits are found in a single long hall progressing from ancient through medieval and then towards the modern era. All the exhibits are labeled in the Serbian Language, Cyrillic, Latin and in English.
