The museum was opened in remembrance of one of the greatest inventors of all time Nikola Tesla on December 5, 1952, 9 years after his death.The Museum is a unique institution of science and culture in Serbia and in the world and what makes the museum even more amazing is that the visitors can watch a few experiments and also take part in a few.Muzej Nikole Tesle (Nikola Tesla Museum) was founded in accordance with the decision of the Yugoslavian government and all of his belongings in the U.S. were sent by his nephew to the small building that is nowMuzej Nikole Teslethat is named after Nikola Tesla. The museum holds several valuable collections most of which are original documents, books and journals, historical technical exhibits, photographs and photo plates of original, technical objects, instruments and apparatus and plans and drawings. Nikola Tesla Museum is located in the central area of Belgrade. Actually, the museum is a remarkable place that is worth to be visited in Belgrade.
