About Crkva Svetog Marka

CrkvaSvetogMarka, The Church of St. Mark holds the second place by standing 62 meters long and 45 meters wide, and the height of the main cupola to the base of the cross is 60 meters. The church is dedicated to the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Mark and located in the Tašmajdan Park in Belgrade, near the Parliament of Serbia. Knowing that the church was built in the Serbo-Byzantine style by the Krstić brothers and completed in 1940, the church style is glorious. In addition, the iconostasis of the church designed is done in marble, while the icons in mosaic. Actually, the CrkvaSvetogMarka is a remarkable attraction which simply can be considered as the heart and culture of the local society as well as a spiritual symbol of the Serbian people.

How to reach

 

Crkva Svetog Marka is 1.3 km from the city center

It takes 10 minutes by car to reach there. The fare costs around 85 to 100 RSD

Rechargeable BusPlus smart cards are easily available at 250RSD and can be topped up 89RSD per ticket at kiosks and other outlets

 Tickets are 150 RSD if you buy from the driver. Fares are good for 90 minutes.
