About The Bodrum Castle

The Bodrum Castle has four towers known as the English, French, German, and Italian towers, bearing the names of the nations responsible for their construction. It was completed in the late 15th century. It also made to the tentative list of the World Heritage Sites in 2016.  
Currently, it is closed for renovation and will reopen in 2019.

  • Windmills that were constructed in the 18th century
     

How to reach

The airport in Bodrum is around 35 km away. Bus services at the airport are pretty flexible; these services are synchronized with the arrivals and departures. The journey to the castle will take no longer than 45 minutes. It's 20 minutes during the low season.

Tips

  • Especially in beach clubs, read even the small prints on the menu before ordering. They try to fudge the bill.
  • Bodrum Airport is a tad pricey. It is advisable to carry your own victuals.
