The Armoury Chamber is found in the Grand Kremlin’s palace complex that was built by the famous architect Konstantin Ton in 1851. One may find himself surrounded by precious treasures initially owned by the Tsar and the Patriarch that makes up the Armoury’s collection, which is a mixture of items produced in the Kremlin workshops as well as gifts given by the ambassadors. The museum collection in itself harbors artifacts and art pieces from all over European and Eastern countries, which is why it is widely known as one of the greatest museums around the world. It also provides visitors with a taste of traditional Russian culture, such as exhibiting examples of ancient royal garments and coronation dresses, gold and silver utensils as well as Russian armory and carriages that perfectly reflect Russia’s history.
