Located in Tlalpan, Six Flags México is an amusement park that is presently owned and operated by Six Flags Inc. It was previously known as Reino Aventura which opened in 1982 and became the largest theme park in Latin America. Its main attraction was the orca whale Keiko (featured in the movie Free Willy) which was freed due to activism from animal rights organizations. Reino Aventura was bought by Premier Park in 1999 and the name was changed to Six Flags México while 20 new attractions were added. The park reopened in the year 2000. Now it has 50 games with 9 Roller coasters and two water rides in the area of 110 acres. The park has a footfall of around 2.5 million annual visitors.
