Public Transport System

The main public transports are public buses and taxis.
The buses start from the hotel zone area and go to the downtown area where shops and restaurants are located and to the bus station from where other buses go to different towns in Mexico.
There are three bus routes that start from the hotel zone, namely, Ruta 1", "Ruta 2" and "Ruta 15".
The bus "Ruta 1 " go to a bus station and buses "Ruta 2" and "Ruta 15" goes to the downtown area.
Taxis are available at taxi spots in front of all the hotels and malls in the hotel zone.

Before 1970 Cancun hadn't ever been considered a holiday destination, let alone a destination for its nightlife. The young adventurers from America, wanting an economical getaway found the pristine white sand. Punta Cancun is the party zone of Cancun. The difference in the city of Cancun during day and night is amazing.
