Leonardo da Vinci has become one of the most influential artists and is renowned for his painting, The Last Supper. The Last Supper was started in 1494 and took two years to complete. It is a large painting that represents the scene of the last supper of Jesus, narrated in the Gospel. The last supper painting is one of the most famous paintings in the world. The work done on the painting was itself a unique work done in the form of sketches. The painting is kept on the wall of the dining room of the former Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. To preserve the artwork by Leonardo da Vinci, access to The Last Supper is permitted only for small groups of 25 people and only a few days a week and for that reason, reservation is required.
