The Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore which is also known as Chiesa di Milano was once associated with a major convent of the city. Now the building is used as Milan's archaeological museum. The church is still used as a house of worship, as well as a venue for concerts. The place is divided into two sections, one is the church itself and the other is a monastery, that used to be strictly reserved for nuns only and is called the Hall of the Nuns.
