The Duomo is the fifth largest church in the world, situated in the heart of Milan. It took over five centuries to complete the construction which was however completed only in1965. The Il Duomo is considered to be the most impressive structure which comprises of its statues and spires. There are a lot of things which one can explore inside and outside of the structure. The rooftop terrace of the cathedral is very large in itself. Tourists can climb to the top and walk along the terrace where they can enjoy the most beautiful panoramic views of Milan.
