Restoring and preserving a wide variety of fast diminishing flora and fauna Guidy National a small national park, originally a reserve forest established in 1910. Conserving around 14 rare species of mammals, Dry evergreen scrubs, thorn forests, water bodies with herbs, weeds and shrubs, vast expanses of grassland and 24 species of trees and around 350 varieties of various plants the national park is a major attraction for all age groups. With a snake park and children entertainment park, the Guindy reserve is all fame as a forest reserve. The endangered blackbuck has become the flagship species of the park. Spotted deer introduced in it after 1945 and gave it the name Guindy Deer Park. It was declared as Guindy National Park in 1977 covering an area of 1.0447 sq miles and 22 acres of the park has been converted into Children's Park and play area.
Children's Park consisting animals like Black Buck and Spotted Deer, EMU etc. Snake Park consisting King Cobra, Python, Crocodiles. The park has a thorn forest, grasslands and water bodies with over 350 species of plants, 24 variety of trees and 150 species of birds Children's playground Aquarium.
