According to the folktales, it is believed that a dragon lived in the lake. Xuanwu Lake has a road around the lake and has five isles, namely : Huan Isle, Ying Isle, Liang Isle, Cui Isle, and Ling Isle. The area presents some very unique and beautiful scenery and sights during the boat ride or while taking a walk around the road.
