Sober and serene, this monument was built as a tribute to all those who were massacred in 1937. Millions of Chinese living in Nanjing were killed by Japanese army in this massacre. It spreads the message of peace and urges us to avoid atrocities. The museum explains very well through statues, documentaries, old newspapers, and articles about the tragic incident that took the lives so many people of China. It is a must visit for the history lovers as it throws light on the Japanese invasion of China. It stands for the evil results of the war and tries to teach the world to avoid hatred and spread the love for humankind.
