The Bibi Mahru hill is a small hill located right in the heart of the city. The hill, while not the most imposing of terrains, does show a stunning view of the city in all its glory if you decide to visit. There are a lot of tourists and non-localites that frequent this area because it provides a very nice place to go for a walk and just get away from the city. Definitely hit up this area if you are travelling alone and need a group or just want meet someone up there. There is an Olympic-sized swimming pool at the top, that is never full due to water pumping problems, but it does make for a good place to sit around and talk to people. The pool was supposedly used as a place of execution during the war and thus also provides an eerie feeling on top of the hill. The garden at the top also has lots of benches to sit and admire the city views or just to admire nature and life going on all around you. Whatever you want to do in Kabul, Bibi Mahru will give you the perfect backdrop for it.
