Magok-i-Attori Mosque
Magok-i-Attori is the oldest mosque in Bukhara. It earlier used to be the temple of Zorastrians. It is a perfect example of being an urban mosque in residence. The frontage of the mosque is asymmetrical. The present-day structure is a result of deep excavations that were carried out in 1930. The architectural decor consists of bricks with geometrical shapes and tiles bearing vegetation patterns. Magok-i-Attori is a fine example of Central Asian architecture during the Khara-Khanid era.
