Chashma Ayub Mausoleum
As its name depicts, you can visit and find Jobs' well at this Mausoleum in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Located near Samani Mausoleum, this structure stands right in the mid of a cemetery. It is surrounded by curtain walls and scenic gardens. One can relax on benches placed at intervals. The present structure was built in the reign of Timur. Quite uncommon in Bukhara, it features a Khwarazm style conical arched roof. One cannot expect the rich architectural designs on the exterior of this mausoleum but it is worth a visit once you enter. Ayub (job) had visited this place. After hitting a strike on the ground, water spring burst on the top of the ground. This water is believed to be holy in nature. It also consists of healing powers.
Chashma Ayub Mausoleum is situated in the middle of a cemetery. It has gardens with a curtail wall surrounded on 3 sides. This structure is one of the preserved structures after losses in destruction during its construction. The interiors are filled with Arabic inscriptions on the background of botanical ornamentation. You can consume the holy water and offer prayers also.
