About The Fadhloun Mosque

The Fadhloun Mosque is one of the strangest and most surprising monuments. The monument was built during the 16th Century and consists of three parts: a prayer room standing in the middle of a closed courtyard, an ancillary room and a main room that was devoted to the teaching of the Koran.

It is situated in the Houmt Souk-Midoun Road next to the city centre.

  • At the entrance, a Djerban outfit is available for rent for both men and women that should be worn on top of your clothes to show your respect for the site.
