About Interlaken

Interlaken is a beautiful mountain resort town between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Dropped in the middle of thick forests and glaciers, you will want to go here for hiking and skiing. Go on an adventure by cable-car to the Harderklum, a lookout deck with beautiful panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Take the train to the Schynige Platte for a stroll in the botanical gardens. Continue on the Jungfraubahn to the Jungfraujoch [link to other attraction]. Take a flight back down to Interlaken with a paraglider. Once back down by the lake you may choose to go on a boating trip, visit the Schlosskirche, or tour the Oberhofen Castle and museum. The little ones will enjoy a good romp at the Jungfrau Park where they exhaust themselves on the giant slides, climbing gyms and pedal karts. Adults can zip through the trees on a course made of swings, bridges, and zip lines. No matter what you do the mountain air will refresh you, the people will welcome you, and you’ll have memories of family time spent here forever.
