The Bern Historical Museum which happens to be the second largest museum in all of Switzerland also an amazing place to explore especially someone who is fascinated by the facts and figures of history. Designed by the architect, André Lambert the museum was built in the year 1894. Initially known as the Swiss National Museum, the Bern Historical Museum was built keeping in mind a number of historic castles from the 15th and 16th centuries by the wonderful architect. Then in the year 2009, the city also ended up completing an extension of the original building. The museum houses a vast collection that relates to the rich history of Bern. These include displays from prehistoric times to the present. Other than that, there are various other artifacts on permanent display that have been kept there to represent Egypt, America, Asia, and Oceania too. One of the displays that seem to pull the crowd towards it is the Muri Statuette group that comprises of six Gallo-Roman bronze figurines.

By Bern, station walks for 177 meters and it will take around 5 minutes then take line bus 19 from Bahnhof to Helvetiaplatz. walk for three minuted you will reach then to place.
