The Einstein House or Einsteinhaus, as it is also known, is able to let the people who visit the house a wonderful chance to see where the brilliant physicist completely ended up revolutionizing our understanding of both space and time. Albert Einstein spent part of his life in Bern. When he arrived in the city of Bern in the year 1902, he ended up taking a post at the federal patent office. In the year 1903, both him and his wife, Mileva, decided to move into an apartment on the third floor of Kramgasse 49 which was situated in the at the heart of the city of Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well. Today, the apartment has become quite an attraction as it is now open to tourists and reflects the style of Einstein’s time beautifully and even documents the life of the physicist during his years in the city.
