A wonderful museum in terms of architecture, history and future aspirations. The journey through the history of Polish resistance is amazing as well as awe-inspiring. This museum serves a great part in the history of the city and country in a very interesting way. You get to see lots of pictures, artifacts, uniforms, sounds. It will make you shiver when you discover what the people of Poland have been through. This is a beautiful tribute to one of WWII's saddest events. The museum has four floors that memorize the people of Warsaw's uprising against the Nazis in 1944. Their fight, combined with Jews freed from the ghettos, is a brave story of people fighting for freedom - only to be subsumed by Stalin's Russia. The interior being ideal to display the stark reality of the totality of the defeat of the mainly civilian population, who rose up against a ruthless usurper enemy to regain their city and undertook a brave stand between 1st August and 2nd October 1944 until the uprising was crushed. A memorial wall with thousands of names of the fallen and the Monter Bell is one of the most important things to see here.
