San Blas Neighbourhood is Cusco's most atmospheric neighbourhood and home of many Incan artists. From the Plaza de Armas, San Blas is a short but increasingly steep walk where one can find artist studios and workshop always stuffed with tourists. The first craftsmen of this place was Mitimaes who taught the local craftsmen. Every Saturday the streets are full of delight with its fairs, art shows, dances, music, and lots of food.
This is located just a few blocks from the main square or one can get there via an old Incan street, Hatun Rumiyoc, where you will find the famous Twelve-Angled Stone.
