Cusco Cathedral is located at the main colonial square near Plaza de Armas. The full name of the cathedral is "The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin." The cathedral has two small churches, the Sagrada Familia, and Triunfo. The construction was started in 1559 and it took a century to complete it.
