Named after Bladen Wilmer Hawke who owned a beach house back in the 1930s, this is a beautiful beach located 20km at the south-west of Karachi. It overlooks the Arabian Sea. Popular for camel rides, swimming, and horse riding, locals come here to chill and take a stroll. They offer private huts on rent for families to spend the entire day. You can take your picnic here and watch a beautiful sunset. There are many grocery stores nearby where you can pick up something to eat. The beach has no hotels attached to it. You may want to prebook a hut if you plan to stay for long. There is a limited number of lifeguards and security so swimming is not recommended if you are an armature. The local vendors sell ice cream, snacks, and savouries.
The beach is very refreshing and relaxing.
Hawks Bay is located 20 km away from the city center. Take the bus Al-Rehman from Jail Road to Shershah. From Shershah you need to take another taxi to Hawks Bay. The trip would cost you around 500 PKR.
You could take a direct taxi/Uber to Hawks Bay and reach in 29 minutes for 900 PKR.
