The Clifton beach is also known as Seaview, stretching from Karachi to Balochistan. The beach was very popular because of its silver sand but lately, due to the oil spill, it is not on the favorite hangout list of the locals and tourists. It is recommended not to take a bath here due to the oil spill and polluted water. The flora and fauna have been affected as well. Being an Islamic country, tourists are discouraged from wearing clothing hurting Islamic sentiments. You can take a camel ride or just relax and watch the sunset. Clifton Beach is Karachi's busiest shoreline, but here you'll need to go for a walk as opposed to a dip. The shoreline itself is not all that much, made of mud-dim sand, yet it's a good time for people to unwind. Clifton is one of Karachi's posher neighborhoods, yet the shoreline draws in a total cross-area of society, so gives a decent picture of Karachi at play. It's deserted before late evening, and at it's most crowded on Sundays. Camel and pony ride on the sands are prominent, while stands sell cold beverages, chai (tea) and flame broiled corn.
The beach is around 9.4 km away from the center. You could take a taxi or Uber directly to the beach. It would cost you around 400 PKR.
There are no direct buses to the beach.
