About Japanese Garden

Amidst the fast cars and casinos of the city, this garden is a place of tranquillity. This serene and compact garden is a place to enjoy a nice peaceful walk or come to relax and meditate at the Zen garden. It was built in the year 1990 as a miniature version of Shintoist philosophy by the famous Yasuo Beppu. All the structures in this garden were made in Japan and assembled here. Standing up to the name everything here is from Japan, and even the names are in Japanese, like the main gate is called, shô-mon.

Have a peaceful walk towards the covered terrace, kyukeïjo and enjoy watching the arched red bridge. The prominence of red color is seen, as the Japanese use this color to symbolize happiness. There is a Zen garden with gravel forms made in a curved pattern symbolizing the ocean. There are many waterfalls and ponds in the 7-hectare garden, and multiple tiny picturesque bridges cross them. The water bodies are full of carp and Koi fish. A Japanese teahouse is located in the center of the garden. It is a small quiet park perfect for an hour-long stroll or an undisturbed conversation. You can see different colors of the garden during different seasons. The spring attracts you with the pink blossom of cherry trees, while the maple leaves surprise with red color in the fall.
