In the South Delhi region of the city lies the beautiful Hauz Khas Village. Hauz Khas Complex has a water tank, an Islamic seminary, a mosque, a tomb and pavilions built around an urbanized village with a medieval history traced to the 13th Century of Delhi Sultanate reign. It is now an expensive tourist-cum-commercial area. It has several art galleries, classy boutiques, and restaurants. The complex is now a public Delhi park, a place where many students go to hang out with friends and chat while sitting on ancient stones and tombs. Delhi has a number of ancient Mughal buildings that are not fully preserved but are just a part of the daily lives of residents, just like Hauz Khas. It is a perfect place to spend some peaceful time with your loved ones.
The Hauz Khas and Green Park stations (on the Yellow Line) are just a 5-minute auto-ride away.
