The palace ground is another major attraction with many wonderful old courtyards, numerous fountains, ponds, and gardens.
You can reach by subway U6/ U3 or walk for 15-20 minutes via Schwanthalerstraße. It is located only 2 km away from the city center.
Use the short trip tickets starting from 1.70 EUR for up to 3 stations with S-Bahn and U-Bahn or 6 stations with bus or tram.
Or, take a taxi via Altstadtring-Tunnel. It is 2.8 km from the city center and the taxi will cost you around 6 EUROS.
