The Hofbräuhaus walls and ceiling is adorned with timeless elements like beautiful paintings of fruits and vegetables and massive iron chandeliers. This is the place to eat traditional Bavarian food, enjoy some live music and drink huge mugs of beer.
Take the subway lines U3/U6 or the city train (S-Bahn) S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S8 - Get down at Marienplatz station and walk about 3 minutes to reach Hofbrauhaus.
Use the short trip tickets starting from 1.70 EUR for up to 3 stations with S-Bahn and U-Bahn or 6 stations with bus or tram.
It is 3.6 Kms from city center and can be reached by taxi. The fare would be around 6.5 EUR to 7 EUR.
